I'm always looking for ideas for my Cary News column, Parenting Pathways. I enjoy bringing a variety of parents into the fold and would love to hear about your experiences, challenges and joys alike. Topics I've covered in the past include single parenting, bullying, speech issues, physical disability, emotional disability and pet peeves, among other things. I also enjoy covering the lighter side of parenthood, including the days when all your kid will wear is a superhero costume or how he cut the fringe off the living room pillows because they "looked better" that way.

 

In addition, I'm always looking for story ideas to pitch to the News & Observer (real estate section), Cary Living and Midtown Magazine. So if you know of a unique home, person, business or anything else that would make a great human interest story, please let me know. There are so many interesting things to write about, and my readers tend to be my eyes and ears.
